About The Archive

The Doncaster Gate Heritage project has collected a variety of photographs for our archive which relate to the hospital.

Some of these photographs have been brought together with the assistance and support of the Local studies and Archives service of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, for which the project is very grateful. Others have been donated by members of the public who have either worked at Doncaster Gate or have been Patients or Visitors. This collection is invaluable for understanding the history of Doncaster Gate Hospital.
